Banjo’s Backpack Next Version Updates Character Importer

Banjo’s Backpack, the Banjo-Kazooie game editor made by Skill and Coolboyman, will now be able to replace a character model with an animated model and customize speech bubbles with your own sprites and audio.

To see an example of how this update will work, Banjo-Fella, creator of these Grunty’s Revenge N64 remixes, imported Yooka into Banjo-Kazooie in the place of Brentilda.

The Banjo-Kazooie editing software has produced several custom levels online, like Banjo-Dreamie, Bubbling Bog Brewery, Magic Forest, Reactor, Stone Smack Canyon, Green Grass GardenSnowglow VillageBanjo-Kazooie Returns, worlds from other games like Kokiri Forest, Cool Cool Mountain, and many others.

If you missed my own weird Banjo’s Backpack creations, they include DK Fun Room, Bigbutt Challenge, Mario Head Room, Ganon’s Castle, Platform Peril, Hyrule Castle, and Spongebob Edition.

I can’t wait to see what new creative worlds people come up with next! I can tell you now, the new Spongebob Edition is going to look a lot better…

Version 2.7a of Banjo’s Backpack, which includes this new importer, has not been publicly released yet.
