Welcome back to my website! Bringing it back took a few months, but better now than never. Yes, it’s a new domain again but it’s still me. Last year I made a dot club website, thethumbsup.club, but I brought back thumbsupmaster.com because it’s the username that has stuck with me since 2005. I used to own this domain a few years ago, and then it became an ad site. Flash forward a few years to now and, to my surprise, it was available to purchase.

So what have I been up to since the website went away? Well, if you’ve been following me on Twitter, you’d know what has been up. I replayed GTA IV, but like my recent San Andreas replay, I got to the end but didn’t finish it. My choices, however, were opposite to what I chose last time. The game was still great, and I always looked forward to playing it.

The new Pokemon Sword and Shield DLC was released and I had fun with it. My Pokemon are the best. Building up different teams, transferring them to Home, and replaying the game is something I’m considering doing when there are more Pokemon Switch games to play.

I also started replaying PS2 games on my PS3 again, mostly Burnout and WWE games. They take me back to the mid-2000s when the PS2 was dominating and had the best games to play. Burnout 3: Takedown was a huge leap from the last game, and playing it again reminds me of a time when the series was becoming the exciting racer everyone knows it as. Burnout Paradise is a nice preservation of it’s gameplay style that can be ported over to new consoles several times, but Burnout 3 has that spark that is always lit up again whenever I hear it’s intro song.

Now for WWE, I really liked that era. Both the PS2 and GameCube games were some of the greatest wrestling games of all time. WrestleMania XIX, Day of Reckoning, Shut Your Mouth, Here Comes the Pain, and Smackdown VS Raw will always be in my top 5. They are easy to pick up and fun to play, however, I am getting into the N64 Aki wrestling games lately. I got my N64 running again and have been having a blast. It’s all thanks to online shopping and my need for an HD TV, although this SD TV I acquired recently has been doing the trick for my N64 play sessions. I even have the PS3 connected to both the SD and HD TV. I need it for PS1 games too.

The next room over is the HD TV with the Switch and PS3 too if needed. What you won’t see is my Wii U, which died a horrible death last year. It will rest with my Wii, and even my Xbox One, wherever it may be. As for games, I bought WrestleMania 2000 and WCW World Tour for the N64 locally and WCW Revenge online.

If you noticed, I mentioned PS1. Yes, the first one. I’ve been mainly playing Threads of Fate and recording gameplay for a possible video. But, as usual, I have been running into problems with my old Dazzle TV tuner card. I think it’s time to upgrade, or learn how to fix the audio again.

Over the holidays, I played through Dead Rising 2 for the first time with a (nearly) flawless playthrough. I missed playing this 10 years ago, but I’m glad I got to play it now.

Movies I saw were Beetlejuice, Hocus Pocus, Halloween Town, Haunted Mansion, Spongebob: Sponge on the Run, Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus, Dragonball Super: Broly, Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey, This is Spinal Tap, Teen Titans Go: To the Movies, Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course, Gordy, Elf, Addams Family (1991), Jumanji, Jumanji 2, Soul, Night at the Museum, My Fair Lady, Nanny McPhee Returns. Earlier in 2020: Angry Birds 2, Scoob, Trollz: World Tour, Joker, Spiderverse, Jojo Rabbit, Malificent 2, Spies in Disguise, Onward. For animated shows: Steven Universe Future, Rick & Morty, Bob’s Burgers, Ducktales, Harley Quinn, The Midnight Gospel, Beastars, BNA, Pokemon, The Owl House, Tiny Toon Adventures, Whose Line is it Anyway? (US and UK), Sonic Boom. And finally, I might continue The Critic, Amphibia, Infinity Train, Close Enough, Primal, Digimon, and Kid Cosmo.

Aside from several life altering experiences over the holidays, things have been well. I’m still here, and better than ever. I have a website again! I just need a few more updates, and it will be 100 percent complete. For now, thanks for reading, and have a wonderful day!
