I went to GameSpot yesterday and spotted Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door used for $17.99 and Conker: Live and Reloaded used for, also, $17.99. I was going to buy both but I decided to wait a bit more until I buy some more recent games. Afterwards, I went to Target and found Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for $2 more… common sense made me buy it there. There was also a copy of Animal Crossing for GCN but I should be getting the DS (WiFi) Animal Crossing soon. I should be picking up Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition later today. I hyped RE4 Wii 2 months ago and just recently, GameSpot gave it a 9.1. Not like I care or anything. I just wanna see the people, who doubted it before, purchase it. Yay for irony!
But… one problem (still). I have yet to receive the repair label from Nintendo for the recent faultiness of my Wii. So, unfortunately, I will be blasting zombies heads off with black/white vertical line annoyance until the repair label from Nintendo finally decides to come to my house. Or maybe I should just buy the game and leave it unopened until I get my Wii fixed. I mean, I just bought Paper Mario 2, and if it’s like the N64 version I rented years ago, it will be very time consuming… and confusing.
E3 is only a little over 3 weeks away. Rare is rumored to showcase Banjo-Kazooie 3.. or was it confirmed? I’m not sure but I hope it’s there. I also hope we get more info on Super Smash Bros. Brawl (like new characters!) because the website updates haven’t been that exciting. A new GTA IV is set to release in 8 more days. Hopefully this time, the trailer is longer and shows more gameplay. Or maybe Rockstar will have more to show at E3?
On a personal note, I’m moving out of my house very soon. I lived in the same house since I was born so.. it’s kinda weird seing a “For Sale” sign on my front lawn. I’ll still be in the same town though.. -_-
On another personal note, I took a lot of risks and I now have a lot of cash (hence all the recent video-games purchases). I’m going to focus more on the Wii and DS this summer. My Xbox 360 should be good until Blue Dragon, Ass. Creed, Mercs 2, and GTA IV.
Video Update: I’m progressing. I learned a lot of new tricks when working with this Banjo video that should be finished really soon. I’m not going to count any chickens but I am estimating it’s release late today or early (mid-nightish) Thursday.
